Tom Saam attended Illinois State University and began his career at Bartlett High School before making his way over to Downers Grove North, where he taught just about every social studies class under the sun. His passion for teaching economics in particular has been evident as he has taught AP Micro, AP Macro, and personal finance to thousands of students. Apart from teaching, Tom also works as a track and field coach in the throwing events. He most enjoys spending time with his lovely wife and two sons.

Dennis Rogala
Dennis Rogala attended the University of Illinois and began his teaching career at Downers Grove North High School in 2016. With Tom's mentorship, Dennis grew in his passion for bringing financial literacy to students by teaching personal finance. Outside of the classroom, Dennis works as the Scholastic Bowl and Model UN coach at DGN. Additionally, Dennis serves as an IEA representative giving presentations on financial literacy for educators, specializing in Tier 2 pension education.
